If you want to learn about the world, spend time in a classroom.

I spent 13 years teaching art in a public school classroom, and experienced nearly every joy, tragedy, surprise, and challenge imaginable. As a virtual assistant I still get to employ the skills I developed from these teaching experiences, but can now use them to help support small businesses and strengthen communities.

Working with children helped me appreciate the vibrant tapestry that is humanity. I taught students ages 4-14 across a spectrum of backgrounds, cultures, personalities, and abilities. Through this I have developed expertise in multitasking, creative problem-solving, and staying calm under pressure. I will approach each project with respect and a determination to help you reach your goals.

More about your virtual assistant…

  • BORN AND RAISED IN THE SOUTHWEST

I grew up in the border city of El Paso, TX, as the granddaughter of Mexican immigrants. I moved to Albuquerque at 18 and have loved calling these desert landscapes my home.

  • WEAVER

Although I have been a lifelong artist, weaving has been my main medium for nine years. I love the meditative process so much that it became the namesake for my business.

  • OUTDOOR ENTHUSIAST

A perfect afternoon is one spent outside. Sometimes it’s a casual walk through the Albuquerque foothills, and other times it’s tackling one of the 14er peaks in Colorado. Either way I love spending time under the skies.

  • BA, MA ART EDUCATION

While earning my Master’s degree in Art Education, I focused my research on teaching art to students with disabilities.
